RENTAL POLICY

We want to make your rental of our self storage units as easy as possible. These simple policies will make sure you have a stress-free experience.

• Units are rented on a first come, first served basis.
• Units are prorated upon occupancy. Ex.: If you enter the unit mid-month, you will only be charged half a month.
• We will email you a contract to fill out. Once we receive a completed contract and the credit card is processed, the unit will be made available. Please allow 1 week for processing.
• Units are rented on a monthly basis, and credit card will be charged on the first of the month.

• Units are not prorated when vacating.
• When vacating a unit, written notice must be given (via email is best), and the unit left unlocked, broom swept and a photo of the empty unit sent to shelterislandselfstorage@gmail.com.
• If we do not receive notice before the first of the month, you will be charged for the next month.
